AnonymousOOH UHM i did this thing
i start with a simple sketch
i make a new layer above my nearly-transparent sketch and start drawing the lineart using the brush tool. (my settings)
then i create a new layer for every base color. remember that the lineart must almost always be uppermost!
i use clipping group for the shades! you need to make a new layer above your base colors, and check “clipping group”. (like this)
i create a new layer above the lineart, check “clipping group” again, and start changing the colors how i like.
and it’s done!
i use paint tool sai to draw but i think this works with every program? i SUCK AT EXPLAINING THINGS I’M SO SORRY (/□＼*)・゜you can find some speedpaintings here in my youtube account, maybe they’ll help you more!!! please let me know if you have any questions!
